We just spent a wonderful weekend in St Augustine. We went there for our friend's
50th birthday party!!
We drove up friday afternoon, had a lovely drive through the Ocala National Forest & arrived in St Augustine at 4pm to torrential rain!! We went straight to the hotel & put our things in the room. In the evening we went into St Augustine & ate at the Prince of Wales it was a quaint liitle place & the food was fabulous. This is a link to their website: www.theprinceofwalesstaugustine.com
Saturday was a beautiful day, we went for a walk down George Street, which is a very historical part of St Augustine & has some great little shops as well.
Late afternoon we got ready to go the party, it was a fantastic time, at midnight there were about 15 of us on the beach, with glasses & two bottles of champange!! Sunday morning after breakfast, we headed back to Tampa. It really was a wonderful weekend!!!

That sounds so wonderful! I'm glad you all had such a nice time.
I am so glad you had a great time! I have heard such great things about St. Augastine. We are headed to Florida at the end of the week!
