It's been a sad weekend, a friend lost her manager to a brain aneurysm he was 49.
My Son lost a friend he worked with & went to lunch with every day. He was killed by a drunk driver, who pulled out in front of his motorbike, he was 25.
I believe we have to live for today, for we don't know what tomorrow is going to bring. No one knows what God has planned for us, but I know he got 2 special Angels this past weekend.
Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

How awful! I often wonder why there is such a senseless waste to life...those that are loved, loving and productive...and then you have those that take their own lives for no reason that we can discern. It is one of the greatest mysteries ever.
I hope your friend deals with everything okay and also that your son can handle his friend's death. Diana
Oh my Lin...I'm soooo sorry to hear about this! Prayers for the families and friends involved! {{{hugs}}}
I am so sorry to hear that Lin. My prayers are with the families.
I love the sentiment "Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy." So beautiful!
Thank you all, Gareth is going to the funeral Friday. I think it's hit him pretty hard.
Sending prayers your way.
Awww, my heart goes out to their families and to you and your son. I have a son that age also, who lost a very close friend unexpectedly about 2 years ago. You are right...we have to appreciate every single moment that God gives us here..thanks for reminding me not to complain. Blessings..Connie
