I'm not prepared for this!!

This weekend my Son went to a friends wedding in Denver. This has been his first few days off work for quite a few years & he certainly needed the break. He called me this morning & told me he had a wonderful time, so much so that he would love to move there!!

When I heard those words I was trying to keep my voice sounding so happy for him, but inside I knew I wasn't feeling that way. He is my only child, him moving to Denver seems worlds away, which from Florida it is!!

He sent me some pictures of him standing up near Red Rock, where they went to see the Red Rock Derby. I must admit the views are spectacular. He said he will go back in December to go snowboarding & look around a bit more. I'm just not prepared for this change but I know he has to do what he feels is best for him.

I'm so Wii Fit!!

I have just spent my straight 24th day on the Wii Fit & completed up 10 total hours!!

The sideways leg lift, one day I am great at this, next day I can't keep my balance!


I love the step, I unlocked the advanced the other day, that you step on sideways as well, great fun!!


This is just a balance of getting the balls down the holes. There are 8 levels & nearly every day now I can do all 8!!

There are many more, but it would take too long to show them all!! I have never enjoyed excercising so much!!

Go Rays!!!!

I have never really followed baseball at all. I can honestly say I don't understand it!! Tamap has the World Series Baseball Fever. The Rays are a farily new team compared to the Yankees, but they have done so well this year. I have been following them through the playoffs & will definatley follow the first game tonight! GO RAYS!!!!!

I voted!!

Today was the first day of early voting in our County. We decided we would go this afternon, as this is our first real election since becoming Citizens 2 years ago!!

I told Keith that there wouldn't be anyone there, it's the first day after all!! Boy was I wrong!! When we got to the library car park, it was packed. We waited in line for 1 hour!!! We have officially done it now though, I feel very proud to have voted in my first election!!

I am a Wii Fit Addict!!

I really didn't realise that Wii Fitting could be so addictive!! Once all my animals are fed in the morning, I am straight on. I love the Yoga & am doing very well at that. Some of the balance excercises are a challenge, but each day does get a little easier!! Can't say the same for balancing on one leg, I nearly always put my foot to the floor!!

My SIL & Husband are out at the moment, she is also a Wii Fit Addict, we don't get out of the house before midday, as we are on the Wii Fit!!!

Once we get out we shop nealry every day!! Things are so much cheaper over here than in the UK. Unfortunately there is a limit on baggage, so my SIL is trying to be very careful that she doesn't overbuy!!

I am getting so behind on everything!! I have so many things planned that I need to get done, at this rate I shall be lucky if I do anything before the end of the year.

My Credit Card Saga isn't over!!

I checked my statement today & I am still having things appear. Even though the card was cancelled Monday Morning, things that happened Sunday are still showing up.

I decided to check out one of the companies, called Lifelock Inc. This is interesting, they are an Identity Theft Company, how ironic is that!! I called them up & told them what had happened. I had been signed up for a monthly protection fee, how nice of them!! They had details correct except for birthdate & e mail address. They are giving me my money back.

They even ordered flowers, tea, books & acacia berry capsules, which I received today, they must have thought I needed them!!

The card comany can't do anything until I get my new account number sent, I fill in a affidavit form & send it back. Then I can call & try to get it all sorted out. I don't think I will ever order anything on-line again, as this is apparently how they got my info!
