Bloggers without makeup.

I found out from RHOK that another blogger challenged the female bloggers of the world to do the same this Friday and is calling it "Bloggers Without Makeup Day".

I know I feel that if I put a foot out of the door to go shopping, I must have make-up on! We have one Mall here in Tampa called International Plaza. It is near the airport, the women you see shopping there, dressed so smartly & make up so neatly in place! I feel ashamed to stop there if I don't dress up first & would not attempt to step through the door if make up hadn't been applied!

Why is it so hard to go au natural. I think we see these ads, people on tv, who look so glamorous & even those who look fairly natural managed it with make up. I won't get on a plane, go out to dinner, go to the mall, the Dr or the Dentist without maekup. So today I have taken a picture of me, no make-up & my hair a bit of a mess too.

I am woman, hear me roar!!

Hahaha! I love the "I am woman, hear me roar!" Perfect

You are beautiful Lin.

I actually took Camryn to mother's day out one day not realizing I'd forgotten to straighten my hair. I had washed and dried it but got sidetracked and forgot to straigten it. It was major frizzy and flipping in all directions. Ha!

This is great Lin! I missed this, and am sorry, just not brave enough to go au-naturale! I find that the older I get, the more I feel the need to put makeup on, even if it's just some concealer, powder, mascara and blush. On a day when I'm not going anywhere, I'll walk by a mirror and think "oh no!...look at those dark circles and eye puffiness!" We are our own worst critics!
